RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC This position can also sit in Dallas, TX or Minneapolis, MNPosition OverviewRoundPoint tracks all aspects of insurance, including both claim processing and data monitoring. The Insurance Specialist directly impacts the quality of insurance tracking and the homeowner’s insurance claim experience. RoundPoint utilizes an insurance vendor to track all types of homeowner’s insurance and property coverage requirements (e.g., flood, hazard, earthquake, etc.). RoundPoint processes all insurance claims in-house.The Insurance Specialist monitors quality and accuracy of the insurance vendor’s work, identifies any servicing errors, and tracks progress to completion. The Insurance Specialist must quickly communicate any issues to the vendor, analyze the root cause, and oversee remediation of any issues. The Insurance Specialist also processes a pipeline of insurance claims and ensures timely disbursement of funds within regulatory, investor, and agency guidelines. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Identify and research insurance coverage, type, and expiration gaps through reportingCommunicate directly with insurance carriers as needed to clarify coverage in-place or claim detailsResearch and respond to internal and external audit inquiries; resolve homeowner complaintsRemit insurance premiums for escrowed accounts and verify coverageMonitor a pipeline of insurance claims while taking ownership to ensure a positive homeowner experienceCommunicate insurance claim requirements to key internal stakeholdersRecommend and develop process enhancements, policy changes, and/or procedures with managementEscalate aging items as appropriateOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree required; exceptions will be made based on experienceCapability to work in and adapt to a fast-paced environment with a fluctuating volume of workAdvanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, specifically excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup)Accounting and math skillsProfessionalism and ability to interface with upper managementProblem-solving skills, identify issues and concerns, and participate in solutionsStrong oral and written communication skillsDesired:1 years mortgage servicing experience or work at an insurance agencyMortgage servicing application knowledge, preferably with MSP/BKFS/FidelityRelentless pursuit of excellenceKnowledge of escrow-related activitiesAbility to multitask, work in a team, change in role and duties, consistently meet/exceed deadlinesStrong organizational skills with attention to detailRoundPoint’s Employee Value Proposition:Grow.
